The Keystone State. Founded by William Penn as a safe place for Quakers. The first and second Continental Congresses in 1774 and 1775 held at Philadelphia State House, now Independence Hall, the Declaration of Independence being written at the second. Liberty Bell also located in Philadelphia. Site of Battle of Gettysburg in 1863. Contains Pittsburg.
